About This Genealogy Index
This index provides access to a growing collection of state-specific digital editions derived from historical and public domain genealogical and historical sources. Navigation is organized by state to facilitate targeted research.
Through AI-assisted processing of OCR-scanned material, we correct errors, enhance readability, and — most importantly — extract and retain only content directly relevant to the designated state. This means every digital edition contains names, counties, towns, individuals, events, and records, exclusive to that particular state, regardless of the original source's geographic scope. Extraneous material is systematically excluded.
