About This Illinois Genealogy Index
This Illinois index lists selected historical and public domain sources containing material relevant to Illinois genealogy and history. Our ongoing project creates digital editions (Ebooks) from these sources by processing OCR-scanned data with artificial intelligence to correct major errors and restructure the content into a clean, readable format.
