12 January 1793 same day as Grant No. 1174
Elisha Baker is granted 300 acres on Long Creek, beginning at a black oak at the head of Walnut Valley, running both sides of the creek, "including his improvements," for a consideration of ten pounds per hundred acres. Neighbors named are William Brigham (or Boggan) and Andrew Brigham. The grant is signed by Governor Richard Dobbs Spaight and Secretary James Glasgow.
