Note on source	The O'Hurly passage is Connellan's own editorial matter appended to his translation, entry IV in his numbered catalogue of the chiefs and clans of Ormond (Co. Tipperary), between III O'Kennedy and V O'Eichtighearn (O'Higgin). It is not the Four Masters' text. Connellan reconciles "Ó Toirdhealbhaigh" with "Ó Urthaile" (Books of Lecan and Ballymote), anglicised O'Hurley. Content: a Limerick branch in the barony of Owneybeg "placed on the Map of Ortelius"; the Knocklong castle and barony of Coshlea; a separate Galway branch (Kilconnell, Killian, Ballymore) "of which family were sir William and sir John Hurley baronets"; and Archbishop Dermod O'Hurly "of the O'Hurleys of Limerick." CHAS 1905 (p. 112) quotes this passage nearly verbatim. Same author as the 1836 certificate, so this is not independent corroboration of it. Whether the Galway baronets are the same men as the Knocklong baronets is unresolved.
