Note on source

A c.1300s Dalcassian chronicle of the Thomond wars, independently verified by full-text search (via the CELT electronic edition, done for the website transcription project) rather than taken on the 1905 article's word. Confirms "Hy-Blood" (Ibh Blod, the O'Hurlys' own tribal name) as a real, active political/military force on the east side of the Shannon around AD 1307–09, and separately names "the seed of Brenann Bán" — Urthuile's own direct ancestral line, five generations above him in the pedigree — in a muster poem from the same period and district. Does not name O'Hurly individually and does not confirm any chieftainship claim. Used here as territorial corroboration for Urthuile's birthplace, projected backward roughly 370 years from the document's own period to Urthuile's estimated lifetime (c. 940 AD); this supports regional/tribal continuity, not a direct statement about his own generation.
