Used in the Hurley Family Tree for the Meigs County, Ohio, deeds of Robert Hurley and his brother William W. Hurley for lots in Behan's Addition to Sheffield (now Middleport), 1852-1860, and the 1847 plat of that addition.

The county recorder's copies of deeds, entered in the deed books when a deed was brought in for recording, often months or years after it was signed. Each entry gives the parties, residence, price, description, date, witnesses, acknowledgement (with the wife's separate examination) and the recording date. Citations give the book page and the FamilySearch film and image numbers; the volume numbers were not read from the film.
