Beckett at Smith River Valley, Del Norte County (his parents in F201). Married Caroline E. Farnham in Yolo County (KZ3B-RWY; see F200). Censuses 1870 and 1880 in San Luis Obispo County, 1900 Eagle Point, Oregon, 1910 Fresno County, 1920 Madera and 1930 Dinuba. Registered to vote at Clovis in 1903 and 1904. Died 16 Oct 1935 at Madera, aged 90 (QKSM-P2B5); buried Arbor Vitae Cemetery (Find a Grave 200058289). The tree placed the 1920 census in Fresno County; the record is Madera, Madera County, so the place was corrected. The 1850 Mahaska County, Iowa, entry was not found in the FamilySearch index and is left without a source. Find a Grave's biography (compiled) says he was a twin of Mary Ann, one of thirteen children of Lemuel Daugherty Beckett and Sarah Springer Chew, and crossed the Oregon Trail in 1852 from Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Roseburg, Oregon.
