The report gives Aaron Jackson, born 23 Feb 1723 in "Caven" (Cavan), Ireland, died 1768 in Pennsylvania, said to have come to Philadelphia from County Antrim. Its compiler notes there is no proof that he was the father of Samuel Jackson, and that the Aaron Jackson of Pasquotank County, North Carolina (born 1725) is a different man who could not have been Samuel's father.

CONFLICT: birth place Pasquotank County, North Carolina (this record) versus Cavan, Ireland; this record appears to combine the two Aarons. Samuel's descent from Aaron is unproven. Left as recorded; "Pasquitank" spelled Pasquotank.
